This year, the Bulgarian Center of New England (BCNE), the Bulgarian Church of Saint Petka, and the Bulgarian School of St. St. Cyril and Methodius are joining forces to raise funds for an exciting new project: an addition and expansion to our current building in Billerica.
Your support will greatly aid in the preservation and development of the Bulgarian community in New England. With your help, we will construct a multi-purpose extension to the center and school, as well as a separate chapel for the church, enabling us to meet the growing needs of our vibrant community.
The building was purchased only 5 years ago and has already become a central and unifying place for the school, church, and various community events and organizations. The new expansion will not only address current needs but also create many opportunities for the future.
Our school has been serving the community for 25 years, educating over 1200 individual local children. The orthodox Christian church unites and supports us in good and difficult times, while the Center brings us together for holidays, theater productions, concerts, and more events. These organizations rely primarily on volunteer dedication, making every donation to this project, regardless of size, significant.
Your contribution is the most powerful way to demonstrate your commitment to support the expansion project and the volunteers from the three organizations who share the mission of preserving and spreading the Bulgarian language and culture in New England.

The Bulgarian Center received its official tax-exempt 501(c)(3) status in September 2013 and all donations made to BCNE are tax deductible. Tax exempt status in pdf.
