Students will become familiar with the basic structure and will dive into vocabulary of Bulgarian through situational exercises in speaking, reading, listening and writing. At the end of the semester, students will be able to read and write in the Bulgarian language, to speak about themselves and their environment; to introduce themselves and other people; to ask questions and provide information about people, objects, and places; to talk about their daily activities and their interests. The class is based on group discussions, grammar foundations and useful vocabulary. Topics may include interesting facts about Bulgarian history, geographic areas, traditions and culture. Some classes may include guest instructors to lead specific topic and add a more dynamic experience.
