On June 13th, 2013 a great event dedicated to the Bulgarian Center of New England was held at Bradley Hall of Rivers School Conservatory, Weston, MA.
Two young, established and recognized musicians, not only in USA but also in Europe-Gergana Haralampieva (violin) and Zlatomir Fung (cello), expressed their support to the Bulgarian Center of New England with a wonderful concert. Their performance of music by Schubert, Janacek, Veber, Martinu and duet work with motives from Bulgarian folklore, written especially for the occasion by Zlatomir, was nothing short of brilliant.
The concert was organized by the parents of the musicians. They were very happy of the opportunity to promote the fundraising campaign of the Bulgarian Center in New England to the American audience. Tanya Haralampieva, Gergana’s mother, said that some of their American friends were sad of being unable to come to the concert, but were glad to still be able to make a donation for the cause.
The total amount raised from the event is $ 825.
